Pakistan Prime Minister Imran called bin Laden a 'martyr', a storm of criticism

Times Online Reporter:
Pakistan has long been accused of aiding terrorism. In the midst of such allegations, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan himself called Osama bin Laden, the head of the international militant group Al-Qaeda, killed in a special US operation a "martyr." He made the remarks in a speech to Pakistan's National Assembly on Thursday. His remarks have sparked a storm of criticism across Pakistan.
"The Americans came to Abbottabad and murdered Osama canister Laden," Imran Khan told the National Assembly. He must be martyred. The Pakistanis were humiliated by this episode, which I will always remember. '
In 2011, US special forces raided an army-protected area in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad and killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Several of bin Laden's associates also died at the time. Washington has always complained that Pakistan harbors terrorists and militants. Islamabad has always denied it.Addressing the United States, Imran Khan said, "We have supported the United States in the war on terror and have only suffered humiliation instead. They have blamed us for all the failures in Afghanistan. They didn't prevail in Afghanistan. That is the reason he has straightforwardly accused us. 'Resistance pioneer Khwaja Mohammad Asif has forcefully scrutinized Imran Khan for calling canister Laden a saint.  Regardless, he (Imran) is thinking about him a holy person. 'Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, official of the Pakistan People's Party, tweeted that insinuating repository Laden as a "PM holy person" highlighted Pakistan's "history of inducing horrible dread mongering." Senator Mustafa Nawaz criticized Imran as "Taliban Khan" and expressed,"If container Laden is martyred, what will befall the individuals who lost their lives in al-Qaeda assaults?"
A statement from his office did not comment on Imran's remarks. However, Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chowdhury said that the Prime Minister has told this to Mukh Foss.
