Surgical strike will bring destruction to India, stern warning to China

Times Online Reporter:

The military commanders of India and China have met at a time when tensions are running high following bloody clashes on the border. The news organization Reuters cited Iran's English-language TV station Prestiv as saying. The second round of meetings was held between the two sides.Commanders from both sides inside China met today (Monday) at the Line of Actual Control of the disputed Aksai Sino-Ladakh border, the report said. Earlier on Thursday, lower-level army officials from both sides met. However, despite the meeting, China has not backed down for the time being. The country's official media outlet, the Global Times, which is known as the mouthpiece of the Chinese government, has warned India not to do the same with Pakistan and other neighbors, citing India's surgical strike in Pakistan.
Terrorist attacks on Indian troops in Pulwama, Kashmir in February 2016 and in Uri in September. The Global Times advised China to refrain from following the same path, citing India's surgical strike in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in retaliation for the deaths.
Citing comments from several Chinese experts, the Global Times warned India that anything similar to Beijing would have devastating consequences.
Says Lin Minwang, a professor at the Center for South Asian Studies at Fudan University in Shanghai,It is entirely expected to see warmed patriotism in India. However, regardless of whether such patriotism will commandeer India's strategy making to make progressively pressures with China; We don't need to stress over that.
He said when India is involved in a contention with Pakistan and different neighbors, patriotism can drive New Delhi to direct genuine exercises. Yet, with regards to China, it's an alternate story.Wei Dongju, a military expert in Beijing, was referring to remarks made by the Indian prime minister at an all-party meeting on Friday. Wei Dongju said Modi's remarks that the Indian military could take any necessary action could be a ploy to appease the people of the country and boost the morale of the troops.
At least 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a clash with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley of Kashmir's Ladakh on the night of June 15. In addition, more than 60 people were injured. Although China is still in that conflict It was not immediately clear if any of the soldiers were killed. Beijing claims that China's capabilities are not limited to the military. China is far above India in terms of international influence. The headline in the Chinese state media says India knows it cannot go to war with China.
